TORRINGTON, Conn. — Winter Festival 2025 will be held at Burr Pond State Park, 384 Burr Mountain Road, on Saturday, Feb. 1, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There will be winter activities for all ages, including (weather permitting) ice fishing, snowshoeing, winter games, ice sculptures, winter hikes and the like. There will also be a bonfire, search and rescue dog demonstrations, marshmallow toasting and food for purchase.
The event is sponsored by the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and No Child Left Inside in cooperation with Fish with Care and the City of Torrington. For more information, visit nochildleftinside.org.
