KENT—The St. Andrew’s Church Christmas Bazaar did very well last weekend, according to spokesman Marel Rogers, who said attendees were eager to shop and several made generous donations.
A feature of the day was the raffle for a magnificent doll house that had been donated to the church. In recent weeks the church reached out to parishioners in search of artists, furnishings and accessories for a 1:12-inch scale doll house to make it festive.
Rogers had no word this week on the winner, but said the woman apparently wants to donate it to a museum.
“Food sold out completely,” Rogers reported, “and everyone who won a door prize is ‘giddybonkers’ over their winnings. Thank you everyone for supporting St. Andrew’s.”
