SHERMAN, Conn.—The fifth Sherman ARTFEST 2026 is coming Friday, June 19, through Sunday, June 21.

Sponsored by the Sherman Artists Association (SAA), it will be staged both indoors at Charter Hall (above the firehouse) and outdoors on the town green adjacent to the firehouse.

More than 30 artists will be selling paintings, photographs, pottery, jewelry, glass, and fabric arts.  There will be an opening reception in Charter Hall, 1 Route 39 North, on Friday, June 19,  from 6 to 8 p.m., with refreshments and live music. 

The show will be open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Participating painters and mixed media artists are Bethe Bogues, Christy Bonaiuto, Carolyn Cohen, Robin Levine Daas, Betsy Duckworth, Ted Hollander, Mike Kisner,  Mary Jane Magoon, Christina Maschke, Doreen O’Connor, Zachary Osborn, Laura Paradiso, Terry Pasquale, Lorinda Pallisco, Jeanne Plekon, Llana Prusock,  Liz Rosiello, Virginia Schaffer, Denise Schlesinger, and Lynn Slonaker

Photographers include Tony Gomez, Claudia Griswold, Linda T. Hubbard, Susan Locke, Roderike Pohl, and Judith Secco Potters include Eva Defranco and Tammy Lewis; there will be glass by Kenny Litwack and Vincent Vigliotti, and fabric art by Muriel Stockdale. 

In addition to the artwork there will be live music. 

Al Burgasser and Mark Bogues will play on Friday night at the reception.  Sunday afternoon, the “Serendipity Winds,” a traditional woodwind quintet, will perform.
