"The Business of Art" to be discussed at Falls Village library

FALLS VILLAGE, Conn.—The David M. Hunt Library will host “The Business of Art,” a panel discussion of local artists focusing on the practical realities they face today including grants, art logistics, philanthropy and late-career decisions.

The program coincides with an exhibition of panelist Danielle Mailer’s current paintings, which will be on view at the library through Oct. 23. She will be joined by sculptor, painter and art executive Jason Bailer Losh, painter and philanthropist Janet André Block, and painter Robert Cronin who recently celebrated his 90^th birthday.

The panel will be moderated by Natalia Zukerman, the local journalist, multidisciplinary artist and arts advocate. This event is free and open to the public and is part of the Hunt Library’s mission to support regional artists and foster cultural engagement within the community.
