To the Editor:
More money for this building! No!
Yes, it is historic, but it has no future as a town building. Give it to Kent Affordable Housing or Kent Historical Society, but don’t tax the public to fix it up. Such action would be soundly rejected at a town meeting. And $16,000 isn’t even a bandaid.
