TORRINGTON, Conn.—The Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation (NCCF) has awarded $179,950 in grants to 32 local nonprofit organizations in its second grant cycle of 2025.

These grants, awarded three times per year, directly support essential services, community enrichment and operational needs throughout Northwest Connecticut.
Perhaps the grant with the largest potential impact for Kent is a $15,000 allocation to the Housing Collective to support the Litchfield County Center for Housing Opportunity’s operating expenses. The grant came from the Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation’s Marion William and Alice Edwards Fund
The Litchfield County Center for Housing Opportunity (LCCHO) facilitates a coordinated, regional response to address housing affordability in Litchfield County.
