KENT, Conn.—Join local conservation organizations Thursday, June 25, 5 to 7 p.m., for Meet Your Greens, an evening meet-up with others who care about protecting Connecticut’s lands and waters.

Meet Your Greens is Northwest Connecticut’s “green” happy-hour, providing opportunities to make connections and exchange news about environmental issues, conservation initiatives, local farming, land use, and more.
Based on the popular Green Drinks in Connecticut and nationwide, this informal gathering offers time for a broad group of participants to brainstorm ideas and plant seeds for collaboration. All are welcome, and no reservations or RSVPs are necessary.
This free, casual event is open to the public and will be held at Brewery Legitimus, 283, Main Street in New Hartford. It is co-hosted by the Kent-based Northwest Connecticut Land Conservancy (NCLC), the Farmington River Watershed Association, Harwinton Land Trust, Heritage Land Preservation Trust, New Hartford Land Conservation Trust and North Woods Land Conservancy.
Light refreshments will be provided, and attendees purchase their own drinks.
