KENT, Conn.—The Kent Land Trust will hold a Volunteer Workday with Stewardship Associate Zach Orluk at its Tobin Preserve Saturday, July 18, at 9 a.m.
The workday will focus on caring for the history and ecology of the landscape as volunteers help to clear invasive vines off historic stone walls and restore the trails in the meadow and Robert Tobin Preserve
All are welcome. Participants are asked to wear sturdy footwear, bring loppers and clippers as well as a water bottle. Light refreshments will be provided. This activity is for ages 10 and up.

On Saturday, July 25, at 9 a.m., the KLT will hold “Reflection on Skiff Mountain,” a slow and intentional walk in nature where attention is gently anchored to breath, body and surroundings to cultivate calm, presence, and connection.
