KENT, Conn.—A hazardous waste collection day will be held Saturday, Sept. 6, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Weston Public Works Facility, 78 Old Hyde Road, Weston.
The collection is open to towns served by the Housatonic Resource Recovery Authority, which includes Kent.
Those using the service must be a resident of one of the member towns. When onsite, they must remain in their cars at all times and refrain from smoking.
