President, Kent News, Inc.

Andrea has been an occupational therapist for over a decade. She is recognized for her creative problem-solving and dedication to improving lives. A devoted mother of two young children, she extends that same commitment to strengthening her community. After moving to Kent, Conn., in late 2020, she identified the need for a central source of local news.
Through a grassroots effort with fellow Kent neighbors, Andrea facilitated the relaunch and rebrand of the former Kent Good Times Dispatch as the newly minted nonprofit Kent Dispatch. She is proud that this project informs, connects and engages residents. As founding Secretary and now President, Andrea has helped establish a trusted platform for town updates, events, and civic dialogue.
Beyond her professional and editorial work, Andrea chairs the Kent Quilters, has served on Kent’s Main Street Noise and Safety Subcommittee, and participates in adult and children’s events at Kent Memorial Library. You can often catch her at the farmers market and the library with her two young kids, Ollie and Felicity.
