SHARON, Conn.—The Town of Sharon has announced that the revised, 2026 edition of “Sharon Directory Businesses & Services” is now available for all Sharon residents, especially new arrivals.

Updated and produced by the Volunteer Guild of the Hotchkiss Library of Sharon in conjunction with Sharon Town Hall, the comprehensive guide covers everything you need to know about the town, spanning important numbers at a glance, annual community events, clubs, and Parks & Recreation contacts.
Business services listings feature 50-plus categories, from antiques and architects to veterinarians and yoga.
The directory is also a handy resource for finding Sharon nonprofit organizations and volunteer opportunities. The comprehensive medical guide includes area primary care physicians, physical therapy and rehabilitation services, medical specialists across many categories including cardiology, orthopedic surgery, and much more.
According to Gretchen Hachmeister, executive director of the Hotchkiss Library of Sharon, the Sharon Directory is the result of hundreds of volunteer hours. “Our amazing guild volunteers took the initiative to fill a gap in the community with an updated directory. The Hotchkiss Library has become Sharon’s community center, and we are proud to be part of this effort to highlight businesses, town services, and nonprofits. Together we can all build a stronger Sharon.”
First Selectman Casey Flanagan said, “The updated 2026 “Sharon Businesses & Services Directory” is more than a guide —it’s a reflection of who we are as a community. Whether you’re a longtime resident or new to Sharon, this directory connects you with the people, services, and organizations that help make our town thrive.
To get a copy of the “Sharon Directory Businesses & Services,” Sharon residents can either visit Sharon Town Hall during business hours or pick one up at the Hotchkiss Library of Sharon.
