NEW MILFORD, Conn.—Recovering evangelical Flamy Grant takes the Merryall stage June 6, inviting audiences into a world where Appalachian roots meet high-octane drag artistry in a storytelling concert unlike any other.

This Billboard charting, 2026 International Folk Festival Award nominee for best album (“Church”), is not your usual singer-songwriter. With vocals that soar and stories that are equal parts hilarious and blistering, Grant invites listeners listen into his vivacious world.
Love is For the Birds: A Cabaret will debut June 13, featuring a mix of Broadway show tunes and torch songs. This traditional-style cabaret highlights how birds have inspired humans since music-making began.
The ingeniously themed Cabaret will be performed by award-winning singers Connie Pachl and Alan Clark with musical director David Gaines on piano.
“Connie and I are excited to be returning to the Merryall for the first time since our sold-out show pre-pandemic,” said Clark, an ornithologist by trade. “Merryall is such a magical place. We’re especially excited to be joined by Rob Brereton, on dulcimer and ukelele. And best of all, we get to combine two of my passions: birds and romance.”
Together, the two performances celebrate Pride month, showcasing talent and diversity in a welcoming gathering space in the heart of Litchfield County.
