CORNWALL, Conn.—The 68th annual Rose Algrant Art Show, one of Cornwall’s most cherished summer traditions, returns to the Cornwall Consolidated School, 5 Cream Hill Road, West Cornwall, from Friday, Aug. 7, through Sunday, Aug. 9. 

Presented by the Friends of Rose Algrant, the three-day event celebrates the creativity of local artists while continuing a decades-long tradition of supporting the Cornwall community.

This year’s exhibition will feature original artwork by more than 50 Cornwall artists (https://www.rosealgrantartshow.org/growing-list-of-artists/) working in a wide variety of mediums, including painting, photography, ceramics, sculpture, textiles, furniture, illustration, jewelry, wood carving, mixed media, prints and more.

The hours are Friday, Aug. 7, 4-7 p.m.; Saturday, Aug. 8, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday, Aug. 9, 10 a.m.-noon.

The show also continues its commitment to giving back. Fifteen percent of show proceeds will benefit the Cornwall Food & Fuel Fund and the Cornwall Housing Corporation, helping provide essential support. The remaining revenue from artwork sales go directly to the participating artists.

Admission is free and open to the public. Art pickup will be Sunday, Aug. 9, from noon to 1 p.m.
