KENT, Conn. Kent Memorial Library will host a program by the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services at its temporary location, 10-12 Landmark Lane, on Friday, August 28 at 11:30 a.m.

The Connecticut Department of Revenue Services (DRS) has set this date to meet with library patrons to describe the services it provides to taxpayers. Representatives from DRS will be available to answer Connecticut tax questions and will provide a brief overview of the upcoming income tax filing season, with time set aside for the following topics: Connecticut state income tax questions; updates to Connecticut’s tax code; myconneCT walkthroughs, and state business taxes and their various applications.

“We are so happy to offer a program that will deepen our community’s knowledge of best tax practices,” says library Director Sarah Marshall.
