KENT, Conn.—The Kent Memorial Library will host its annual Bag of Books Sale on Friday, Oct. 16, from 1 to 5 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 17 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting.
The sale marks the end of the summer-long book sale held each year to support library activities.
ACE Hardware has donated bags, and patrons may purchase the bags at the sale for $10 each and fill them to the brim.
On Sunday, Oct. 18, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., all books are free with a donation.
“As the seasons change, we would all be wise to invest in books,” said Sarah Marshall, library director. “Reading truly is the best pastime.”
Kent Memorial Library is temporarily located at 10-12 Landmark Lane.
