KENT, Conn. — The Eric Sloane Museum will present an Iron Works Weekend event May 24-25.
Iron smelting demos, furnace tours, and more will be offered at the 31 Kent-Cornwall Road (Route 7) museum from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
The event is a collaboration with the museum, the Connecticut Antique Machinery Association (CAMA), New England Blacksmiths, Kent Historical Society, Sharon Historical Society, and the Early American Industries Association.
Admission is free.
