WASHINGTON, Conn.—Plant lovers and garden gurus are invited to the Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens annual Gardenpalooza plant sale on Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The sale features a variety of perennials, annuals, flowers, vegetable and herb plants available for purchase from Meadowbrook Gardens.Â
Local organizations will also be present showcasing their projects and initiatives. The Washington Sustainability Committee will have a table with information on display about the town’s sustainability efforts; the Washington Garden Club will host a tag sale with donated garden items; Steep Rock Association’s Judea Garden will bring materials to talk about its mission; the Gunn Memorial Library will host a children’s craft session, and Farmers and Cooks will be on site offering tasty ready-to-eat food for purchase featuring local ingredients.Â
