KENT, Conn.—With school back in session, the Rev. Steve Klots, chaplain of South Kent School, is again collecting clothes for the Church Street Eats soup kitchen and clothing- distribution program in Hartford.

There is a particular need for men’s clothing—shirts, pants, sweatshirts, socks, clean underwear, shoes, coats—as well as blankets.
Klots takes South Kent School students and clothing over to Church Street Eats at least once a month throughout the school year.Â
The collection box is in the narthex of St. Andrew’s Church at 1 N. Main St.
Contact Klots at klotss@southentschool.org for information.
