KENT, Conn.—The Kent Chamber of Commerce has released the logo for the 49th annual Kent Pumpkin Run, created by John Campagna. The race, Kent’s largest one-day community event, slated for Sunday, Oct. 26, with five spooky miles of tradition, fun and community spirit.

The annual race is organized by the Chamber of Commerce with the help of many volunteers and sponsors. The five-mile event begins and ends in front of the Kent Town Hall, 41 Kent Green Blvd and travels along one of the most scenic courses in Connecticut.

Cash prizes are awarded for the overall top three male and women runners, and there are special prizes for second- and third-place male and female runners in each age division.

Each year the race has a wide variety of costume-clad runners, and all are encouraged to join in the fun. Prizes for costumes will be awarded.
