KENT, Conn.—A celebration of the life of Frank Galterio will be held Saturday, July 11, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Macedonia State Park pavilion, 159 Macedonia Brook Road.
Friends are invited to share stories, view photos and listen to his song “The Heart Sings Twice.”
Some refreshments and water will be provided but those attending may also bring pot-luck style snacks to share.
Galterio, founder of the Kent Film Festival, died in March. He was a filmmaker, photographer, writer and musician. An avid hiker, he was well known in the Appalachian Trail community.
Frank Galterio is survived by his son, Kiley Galterio, his grandsons Kamden Galterio and Mason Galterio, and his ex-wife Margaret Ryan.
