KENT—A special presentation, “People and Places of Kent,” with John Casey will be offered Wednesday, Oct. 16, at 11 a.m.

Casey will talk about his family’s longtime Kent institution, N.M. Watson and Company, the general store and lumberyard on Main Street that once stood where Kent Town Center is now located.

He will also talk about the beginnings of Kent Green.

The program will be held at the Kent Senior Center, 16 Swift Lane.
