NEW MILFORD, CONN.—Tickets are now on sale for Merryall Center’s 2025 Season, which begins May 17 and runs through October 11.

It all begins on Saturday, May 17, at 7:30 p.m. with “Merryall Tales – Personal Storytelling,” featuring seven northeast-based Moth Grand Slam/Story Slam winners who have also been spotlighted on PBS’ Stories From the Stage.
On Saturday, May 31, TV-legend Karen Valentine hosts the Merryall Gala. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with small bites served until 8 p.m. Entertainment will then be provided by Frank Brocklehurst, returning to the Merryall stage for the fourth consecutive year.
He’ll be joined by a trio of fellow musicians adding their jazz chops to songs performed by several local vocalists including Missy Alexander, Felicia Michael, Nick Petrone and Violet Willows (Brianne Chasanoff & Mary Gardner).
Connecticut Community Foundation’s Pride in the Hills fund, the New Milford Commission on the Arts, and New Milford resident Theodore W. Hine have provided grants to enable Merryall to continue its June tradition of Pride Month programming.
First up on June 7, will be “It Goes Without Saying,” written and performed by actor and mime Bill Bowers. Then, on June 14, there will be a concert performed by author, composer and NY Public Theater artist Lisa Stephen Friday.
The full season continues in late June with a number of established and up-and-coming singer/songwriters, another one-person play and four concerts presented by the Sherman Chamber Ensemble.
And, for those itching to step into the spotlight, there will be Second Tuesday Open Mic Nights, or check out the Merryall’s Call for Submissions for “Expressing Motherhood,” a gathering of local voices and staged stories about the journey of mothering in October.
