KENT—John Milnes Baker will preview his new video, “The Case for Edward de Vere,” Thursday, Sept. 26, at 6:30 p.m. at Kent Memorial Library.
The video explores the issue of whether William Shakespeare—a grammar-school-level scholar from Stratford-on-Avon—could have been the true author of so many immortal plays.
Baker, an architect, author and former New School University adjunct professor, will discuss the authorship question based on the writings of Mark Twain’s last controversial published work, “Is Shakespeare Dead?”
Satire, anecdotes and extensive quotations from contemporary authors on the subject are included in the book.
