KENT, Conn.—The Kent Memorial Library will present an author talk Saturday, April 26, at 3 p.m. with Janice Kaplan discussing her new book, “What Your Body Knows About Happiness.”

Kaplan uses science-based evidence to reveal how the powerful body-brain loop influences us in ways we never imagine. She will discuss how changing your environment can improve your mood, how your brain resolves bodily pain, why blue and green are the happiest colors and even why wine tastes better when you are drinking it in Paris.
The program is open to the public, but registration is requested. For more information, call 860-927-3761 or go to kentmemoriallibrary.org.
