KENT, Conn.—Volunteers are sought to help with the annual Memorial Day Bake Sale that benefits the Kent Memorial Library Junior Room. The sale will be held Saturday, May 23, from 10 a.m. to noon (rain date: May 24).
With the library temporarily relocated to Kent Green, the bake sale will have a new location as well, with Tarot & Thyme hosting this year’s Memorial Day Weekend Bake Sale on its front lawn at 31 North Main Street.
Bakers (pies, breads, tarts and whole cakes sell best), sellers and, of course, shoppers are needed. Proceeds benefit the children and family programs enjoyed at KML.
