KENT, Conn.—Volunteers are sought to help with the annual Memorial Day Bake Sale that benefits the Kent Memorial Library Junior Room.
The sale will be held Saturday, May 23, from 10 a.m. to noon. A rain date of Sunday, May 24, is set.
With the library temporarily relocated to Kent Green, the bake sale will have a new location as well, with Tarot & Thyme hosting this year’s Memorial Day Weekend Bake Sale on its front lawn at 31 North Main St.
Bakers of pies, breads, tarts and whole cakes are sought, as well as sellers. Proceeds benefit the children and family programs enjoyed at KML.Â
