FALLS VILLAGE—”Connecticut Tunes and Tales of the Revolution” with Kent Besocke will kick off the D.M. Hunt Library’s summer concert series with the Falls Village Recreation Commission on Friday, June 26, at 6 p.m. on the library lawn. 

This hour-long musical program celebrates Connecticut’s pivotal role in the American Revolution. Weaving together storytelling and songs, this engaging program explores Connecticut’s rich tapestry of history and folklore to uncover hidden stories of local heroes and dramatic moments that shaped the fight for freedom. Participants are invited to bring chairs, blankets, food and beverages to enjoy during the concert.

The concert series continues with the Berkshire Resilience Brass Band on Friday, July 24, at 6 p.m. and the third annual Community Talent Show/Open Mic on Friday, Aug. 28, at 6 p.m.  

The library is located at 63 Main Street.
