KENT, Conn.–As summer winds down, the 2025 Town to Trust Music Series is turning up the volume with its final four free concerts.

Thursday nights in Kent have become the place to be, as neighbors gather with lawn chairs, picnic blankets, and plenty of community spirit to enjoy live music in a beautiful outdoor setting.

Concertgoers relax with beverages, snacks and pampered pooches during the town’s summer concert series. Four more concerts remain in this years’ series, all to be held at the Kent Land Trust field south of the village. Photo contributed

All the remaining concerts will be held at the Kent Land Trust field from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

The Regulators bring their signature energy to kick off the September shows this week, followed on Sept. 11 by Ellen Carlson and the Carlson Family Band. On Sept. 18,  5-Day Knight keeps the rhythm going and on Sept. 25, Wanda Houston and the HBH Band close the season with powerhouse vocals.

Presented by Kent Park and Recreation, Kent Land Trust, and the Kent Lions Club, the series has become a highlight of the season, offering music lovers of all ages a chance to relax, connect, and celebrate summer together.

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation to support the Kent Food Bank.

To make the most of the concerts, attendees are invited to channel a little of Tanglewood’s famous spirit—pack a picnic, spread out a blanket and turn the evening into a summer tradition.
