KENT, Conn.—It’s that time of year again. Summer is winding down, the evenings hold just a hint of fall in the air, and the land trust and Parks and Rec Department are again joining forces to host the Town to Trust Concert series for residents in August and September.

The Joint Chiefs will be the opening act for this summer’s Kent concert series, which begins Aug. 7. Photo contributed

The August concerts will be held at Kent Town Hall, 41 Kent Green Blvd.

September concerts will be held at the Kent Land Trust field, 37 South Main St. (Route 7). Rain will cancel a concert.

Parking opens at 5p.m., with music starting at 5:30 p.m. There is no charge for entry, but donations of non-perishable items will be accepted for the town Social Services & Senior Center’s food bank.
