KENT, Conn.—Kent Town Clerk Darlene Brady has alerted residents to a fraudulent email being sent to some Kent residents, requesting payment for a Special Permit Application and an associated “Application Review and Approval Fee.”
This new version has Building Inspector Joe Manley’s name at the bottom. This email comes from a fake email address of planning.townofkentct.gov@usa.com.
She cautions resident not to respond to the email at all, even to hit “unsubscribe.” Those receiving such an email are asked to contact the land use office at landuseadmin@townofkentct.gov or to call 860-927-4625.
