KENT, Conn.—Students at South Kent School recently conducted their annual Earth Day cleanup, taking to the roads under the direction of their chaplain, Father Klots, groups to help collect litter in South Kent and the surrounding area.

The effort was conducted in collaboration with the Kent Conservation Commission.

The annual cleanup teaches the students the importance of environmental stewardship, community responsibility and the power of collective action.
