SHARON, Conn.—Many people enjoy feeding birds but it is an activity that has been much curtailed by the increasing presence of bears in our midst.

This Saturday, March 22, Sharon Audubon naturalist Bethany Sheffer will discuss “Feed Birds, Not Bears,” focusing on how to continue to enjoy this activity year-round through native plant selection.

The program, suitable for ages 16 and older, will be held at 10 a.m. at the Sharon Audubon Center, 325 Cornwall Bridge Road.

The fee is $10 per adult, which must be prepaid online by registration.
