WASHINGTON, Conn.—Outdoor family movie nights are back at the Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens on the third Friday of each month, June through September, this time with a new twist. Each screening will be part of a themed evening experience, featuring pre-movie fun that might include trivia, games, live music, sing-alongs and interactive audience activities.

The 2025 movie lineup is:
June 20: “The Birdcage”(1996), sponsored by National Iron Bank. This movie follows the townwide community block party that same evening.
July 18: “Goldfinger” (1964), sponsored by William Raveis Lifestyle Realty.
Aug. 15: The park has partnered with Boondocks Film Society will screen a cult indie film. The title will be announced later this summer. This event is sponsored by National Iron Bank. This is a ticketed event.
Sept: 19: “Frankenweenie,” (2012) Sponsorship opportunity available; contact Executive Director Laura Neminski at laura@judyblackpark.org.

All non-ticketed events are free and open to the public. Movies roll at dusk. BYO chairs, blankets, food and beverages. Pets on leashes are allowed.
The mission of The Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens is to create a gathering place in Washington that invites friends and neighbors to relax, learn, play and share all that our community offers.
