TORRINGTON, Conn.—From July 1 through 22, the Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation (NCCF) is matching donations dollar-for-dollar, up to campaign goals, for nonprofit campaigns through Northwest Corner Gives (northwestcornergives.org), a crowdfunding platform created by NCCF to help local nonprofits build awareness and raise matching funds toward their campaign goals.

Nonprofit campaign goals include support for summer camps and daycare services; arts programs and events, basic needs, including food and shelter; behavioral and mental health programs and more.

“Northwest Corner Gives is a true community fundraising partnership, allowing community members to double the impact of each gift with a match from the Community Foundation,” said Guy Rovezzi, NCCF president and CEO. “By helping participating local nonprofits reach their campaign goals, our donors are building a stronger, more resilient local nonprofit network, which benefits everyone in our beloved Northwest Corner.”

Dollar-for-dollar matches up to campaign goals are made possible by the following Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation Funds: Khurshed Bhumgara Fund, Draper Foundation Fund, Paula J. Pfrommer and Cianciolo Family Fund, Douglas and Janet Roberts Fund, Dennis G. Sherva Endowment for Community Leadership, Borghesi Family Fund, Miriam Mason Cable Trust Fund, Robert V.
