WASHINGTON, Conn.—The Judy Black Memorial Park and Gardens invites the community to gather at the park for another season of outdoor movie nights.
With the glow of the big screen, the hum of conversation, and the simple joy of sharing a film outdoors, these evenings offer a relaxed and welcoming way to connect with friends, family, and neighbors in the heart of town.
The 2026 movie begins Friday, June 19, with “Top Gun,” following the town-wide community block party that same evening.
“The Naked Gun” will be screened Friday, July 17, and “Father of the Bride” is slated for Friday, Aug. 21.
Movies roll at dusk and are free and open to the public. Bring chairs, blankets food and beverages. Pets must be leashed.
All movies are sponsored by the National Iron Bank. The Gunn Memorial Library has also contributed to bringing these movies to the public. Additional sponsorship opportunities are available by contacting Executive Director Laura Neminski at laura@judyblackpark.org.
