GAYLORDSVILLE, Conn.—Merwinsville Hotel Restoration will hold its annual potluck dinner and annual meeting Friday, Sept. 11, at 6 p.m.
The evening’s presentation, “Spies of the American Revolution,” will be given by Litchfield Historical Society. Learn about the life of George Washington’s spy master, Benjamin Tallmadge, and discover how espionage developed during the Revolution as Tallmadge and the members of the Culper Spy Ring, successfully collected information about the British Army without being detected.
