NEW MILFORD, Conn.—Merryall Center welcomes back the Bridgeport-based band Caravan of Thieves for an encore performance, Saturday, Sept. 6, at 7:30 p.m.

Known for its mix of big-band swing, early American folk and theatrical flair, Caravan of Thieves has toured with such renowned artists as Emmylou Harris, Dan Hicks, Nanci Griffith, The Decemberists, The Punch Brothers, John Hammond, John Jorgenson and Tom Tom Club.

Audiences can expect an evening filled with inventive arrangements and an interactive, high-spirited performance that has made the group a favorite on festival and theater stages across the country. With their signature blend of upright bass, violin, acoustic guitar and vocal harmonies, Caravan delivers a live show that defies category.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. Merryall Center, is located at 8 Chapel Hill Rd. Tickets are $35 in advance and $40 the day of the show. Seating is limited, and advance purchase is strongly recommended.
