NEW MILFORD, Conn.— The Merryall Center will celebrate the opening of its 2025 season Saturday, May 31, with a gala at the center, located at 8 Chapel Hill Road, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.

The event will be hosted by actress Karen Valentine and will feature Frank Brocklehurst and his Merry All-Star Bands.

Black and white attire is encouraged for the event. Small bites will be served 6:30 to 8 p.m. and beer and wine will be available for a suggested donation throughout evening. 

Cocktail hour will be followed by a concert from 8 to 10 p.m. with Brocklehurst on bass, Lanny Ball on piano, John Keilty on guitar and Avery Collins on drums.

The quartet will add their jazz chops to music performed by Felicia Michael, Nick Petrone, Violet Willows (Brianne Chasanoff and Mary Gardner) Missy Alexander, and Bill Petkanas.

Those who sign up for a Merryall membership by June 30 will receive a 20 percent off discount code for all ticket purchases throughout the 2025 season.
