WINSTED, Conn.—Local manufacturers, community leaders and workforce development professionals are invited to attend the Northwest Connecticut Manufacturing Expo on Thursday, Oct. 23, at the American Mural Project in Winsted.

The event is designed to showcase resources, foster collaboration, and support the continued growth of the region’s manufacturing sector and is presented by the Northwest Hills Council of Government (NHCOG), Northwest Connecticut Economic Development Corporation (EDC), Northwest CT Manufacturing Regional Sector Partnership and Resource Development Associates.

Together, these organizations are working to strengthen manufacturing in Northwest Connecticut by connecting businesses, educators and workforce leaders with the resources they need to succeed.

The expo will provide a platform for attendees to learn about programs, funding, and support available to help manufacturers thrive; to explore the Regional Sector Partnership (RSP), which champions manufacturing across Northwest Connecticut; learn more about workforce development opportunities and meet Kirti Patel, the new Connecticut chief manufacturing officer.
