KENT, Conn.—The Kent Memorial Library is planning a Friday, Aug. 8, field trip to Cloudbreak, a private sculpture park and nature preserve located in Washington, Conn.

The park is open only to scheduled tours.
Departure is from the library at 9:30 a.m. with return anticipated at 3 p.m.
Volunteers are being sought to drive other patrons. To volunteer, email kla-bmcallister@biblio.org.
The park is situated on 150 acres and surrounded by more than 200 additional acres of land in conservation. Nearly 70 artists from around the world are represented.
The trip is intended to be an experience in landscape architecture, art and nature. Participants should pack a bagged lunch. The group will have access to a cart to drive around once it is on-site.
