KENT, Conn. — Kent will host the final stop on the first day, Saturday,  Oct. 24, of the Leaf Peeping EV Road Trip to raise awareness of electric vehicles and enjoy the rich autumn scenery in western Connecticut.

Everyone who has an interest in electric vehicles or owns one and would like to speak with other EV owners, stop by the Webster Bank parking lot, 50 North Main St., at 2:15 p.m.

This year the EV Road Trip has expanded to two days. It is designed to bring together community, history, beautiful autumn landscapes and the fun of the open road. Participants can choose how they want to be involved.

Day One begins in Norwalk, and those touring will stop in Ridgefield and Brookfield before arriving in Kent. Day Two begins in North Canaan at 10 a.m. and continues to New Milford and ends in Wilton.

There will be a series of community-hosted stops and events along the route. Participants can experience historic roads, visit local communities, enjoy spectacular fall foliage, and connect with others at each destination.

Drivers don’t need an EV to participate. EVs and non-EVs are all welcome. If you’re curious about electric vehicles or are a new EV owner, this is also a great opportunity to meet experienced EV drivers, ask questions, learn and connect.
