The picnic will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kent Land Trust Field, located just south of the monument along at the intersection of routes 7 and 341.

This free community event provides an opportunity for families, friends and neighbors to gather in celebration of Memorial Day while enjoying the beauty of Kent’s natural landscape. The event will feature a barbecue lunch, live music by the Joint Chiefs, summer crafts and games for children, and hands-on opportunities to learn about local wildlife and pollinator conservation.

Attendees of all ages are encouraged to stop by after the parade to enjoy an afternoon of food, fun, and community connection.

Admission is free for Kent residents. Donations are welcome and help support the Kent Land Trust’s ongoing conservation, stewardship, and educational programs throughout the community.

The event will be held rain or shine. For more information about the Kent Land Trust and its programs, visit Kent Land Trust.
