KENT, Conn.–A one-car collision has taken the life of a 17-year-old Kent School student.

Shea Cassidy-Teti was traveling with his parents in a 2024 Jeep Grand Cherokee the afternoon of Saturday, Oct. 11, when the car went off the Amenia Road in Sharon for unknown reasons.

His father, Charles Teti, 62, of Salisbury was driving the vehicle northbound on Amenia Union Road when the vehicle crossed the southbound lane and struck a tree and home. The home had “severe damage” due to the crash, state police said.

Teti had serious injuries and was transported by LifeStar to Hartford Hospital.
