KENT, Conn. — Kent Historical Society curator Marge Smith will lead a “Show and Tell” program at the Kent Senior Center on Wednesday, Nov. 19, at 11 a.m.
The program is part of the ongoing series of the “People and Places of Kent” programs co-sponsored by the senior center and historical society.

Those attending are invited to bring one or two items of personal or family interest to share.
“All of us keep family and personal treasures that have great meaning,” noted Smith. “The treasure might be a photograph, a tool, a doll or something else that has either passed down through a family or is of more recent vintage. Each of these items has a story, which we are inviting participants to share.”
Smith, the long-time curator of the historical society, will also bring a few objects from the society’s collection, perhaps mystery items that may intrigue participants.
The Kent Senior Center is located in the Templeton Farm Barn at 16 Swift Lane.
Programs are open to seniors and their caregivers. Advance registration is requested by calling 860 927-1586 or emailing ssassist@townofkentct.gov.
