KENT, Conn.—It’s time for spring cleaning and the Housatonic Resource Recovery Authority is offering an opportunity to get rid of some of our most problematic waste on Saturday, May 10, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., during a Hazardous Waste Recycling Day at the Newtown Public Works site.

The event is open to residents of Kent, as well as the towns of Bethel, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Danbury, Kent, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Redding, Ridgefield, Roxbury, Sherman, Weston and Wilton.

The Public Works site is located at 4 Turkey Hill Road.
