KENT, Conn.—Halls-Jennings American Legion Post 153 will host a community Veterans Day ceremony on Tuesday, Nov. 11, at the Kent Veteran’s Memorial (in front of Templeton Farms Apartments, 16 Swifts Lane).Â

The public is warmly invited to attend.
All veterans who wish to participate and be recognized are encouraged to muster at the memorial at 10:30 a.m. The program will include benedictions offered by pastors from the Kent Congregational Church and St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, and bagpipe music by Don Hicks.
Following the ceremony, St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church will sponsor a luncheon for all veterans and their families.
