KENT, Conn.—The first installment of real estate, personal property, motor vehicle and motor vehicle supplemental tax for the Grand List of 2024 is due and payable Tuesday. July 1.
The payment becomes delinquent if not made by Monday, Aug. 4, at which time interest starts to accrue at the rate of 1.5 percent per month from July 1 until it is paid.
Bills may be viewed and paid online by going to the Tax Collector’s page at www.townofkent.gov.
The tax collector’s office will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
The office will also be open Friday, Aug. 1, from 9 to 4. There is a red drop box net to the Town Hall front door where payments can be dropped or they can be mailed to PO Box 311, Kent, CT 06757.
