SHERMAN, CONN.—Audubon Society volunteer naturalist Diane Nizlek will lead a shady stroll along the trails of Deer Pond Farm Sunday, July 13, at 10 a.m. to describe various ferns common to the Northeast.

She will share the basics of identification and reproduction of some of the oldest plants on Earth and how they support local wildlife.

Participants should gather at 57 Wakeman Hill Road.
