CORNWALL—The Cornwall Days Music Festival bursts onto the scene this weekend with three days of live music and theater. All events are free.
Friday, Sept. 26, from 4 to 6 p.m., singer-songwriter Bruce T. Carroll will share original songs and classic covers while patrons sip curated tastings at the Cornwall Package Store in Cornwall Bridge.
Saturday, Crown Back Funk Trio will blend funk and blues with jazz from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on the lawn of the Wish House in West Cornwall. At 5 p.m., RIP Dunes from Brooklyn, NY, is back for an encore performance at the Cornwall Market in Cornwall Bridge, and at 8:30 p.m., singer-songwriter Matt Sucich will command the microphone at the Pink House in West Cornwall.
Sunday, the Grumbling Gryphons Children’s Theater will hold a workshop for kids at 10 a.m. on the lawn of the Wish House (in the Cornwall Library if it rains), followed by a performance at 11:30 a.m. There is a $10 suggested donation. Register at grumblinggryphons@gmail.com.
