TORRINGTON, Conn.—Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation is inviting residents across the region to participate in a brief community survey that will give insight into regional needs such as homelessness, food insecurity, senior services and more.

The survey, which is expected to take no more than a few minutes to complete.

The survey is part of NCCF’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that local philanthropy works for the people of the 20-town area it serves. Residents are encouraged to take the survey and ask friends and neighbors to do the same so results reflect a broad range of voices and experiences from across the region.

“At NCCF, we want to ensure that local philanthropy works for you and your community,” said Guy Rovezzi, president and CEO of Northwest Connecticut Community Foundation. “Your participation adds your voice to decisions that will have lasting impact on our communities, shaping the future of your town, identifying its most pressing needs and priorities, and helping to create a blueprint for where NCCF grants can do the most good.”

Community members can complete the survey by scanning the QR code on NCCF’s Community Survey materials recently mailed by postcard or by visiting yournccf.org. The survey takes only a few minutes to complete, and all residents are encouraged to participate.

“Only through inclusive, widespread input can we build consensus around what is needed to create a better community for everyone,” Rovezzi said.
