CANAAN, Conn.—The State Police will host a DEA National Drug Take Back Day Saturday, April 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Troop B, 463 Ashley Falls Rd., in Canaan.
Access to prescription medications at home is a known risk factor for opioid use disorder. DEA National Drug Take Back Day aims to reduce access to prescription medications though the collection of unused, unwanted and expired medication.The Housatonic Youth Services Bureau has partnered with Greenwoods Counseling to distribute Narcan as well as provide Narcan training.
